A man in his forties has died in a Sheffield park.
Part of Weston Park, in the city centre, was cordoned off on Wednesday evening following the tragedy.
It is believed that the man suffered a medical episode. Emergency services rushed to the scene and attempts were made to save his life but he was sadly pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A statement from South Yorkshire Police read: “Police were called by the ambulance service at around 5pm on 4 August to reports that a man in his 40s had suffered a medical episode in Weston Park.

“Emergency services attended and made attempts to help the man, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.”
