ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a double shooting that happened Friday afternoon and left one male dead and another male injured.
Marcel Bassett, a spokesperson for APD, told reporters that officers were dispatched around 3 p.m. the 2300 block of Richmond Highway. Investigators believe that the incident started as “an alleged carjacking,” Bassett said.
