Investigators remain frustrated over their inability to locate a white Fiat Uno said to have been in the tunnel on the night Princess Diana died. They believe that the unknown driver of the vehicle could help them piece together exactly what happened on that tragic evening in Paris.
Diana's life was cut short exactly 25 years ago when the black Mercedes she was travelling in crashed inside a tunnel in the French capital on August 31, 1997. She was 36 years old.
Speaking to the Channel 4 documentary, Investigating Diana: Death In Paris, Martine Monteil, head of the French Brigade Criminelle, said: “I have frustration about the Fiat Uno. For sure, it’s out there. Unfortunately, we don’t have it.”
