Sophie Ingle helped rescue a 1-1 draw for Great Britain against Canada and secure top spot in Group E of the Olympic football tournament.
Daly had the best chance of the first half and her side had longer spells of possession, but Adriana Leon gave Canada the lead on 55 minutes.

“I always believed in this team,” said head coach Hege Riise, whose squad’s exploits in Tokyo will be broadcast live on Eurosport and discovery+.
“Great teams always find a way to come back, and we did. We’ve showed how we perform in all of our group games.
“There will always be things you want to improve but we’ve played three games against three good opponents and we’re performing better and better.
“It’s a new team, we haven’t been playing together very long but overall we look strong and I’m confident.”
With their upcoming quarter-final making it four games in nine days in intense heat, Riise shuffled her pack and opted for five changes.
Skipper Steph Houghton was rested, as was in-form forward players Ellen White and Lauren Hemp, with Jill Scott and Georgia Stanway getting their first starts of the tournament.
Whether or not the wholesale changes interrupted their rhythm, Team GB made a sluggish start.
With a mere 90 seconds on the clock, goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck’s lazy pass was telegraphed by Evelyne Viens who fired a low shot wide.
On seven minutes, Demi Stokes was beaten all ends up by Deanne Rose but she couldn’t make her cross from the right-hand byline count.
If Stokes was caught out defensively in the early stages, she was a whirlwind of attacking intent down the left flank and narrowly failed to play Stanway in on goal midway through the half.
A golden chance fell for Janine Beckie when Leah Williamson couldn’t clear from a central position but the Manchester City striker scooped over.
