Naomi Osaka was set to reach greater heights ever since she lifted her fourth Grand Slam title at the age of 23. At the Australian Open last year, she defeated Jennifer Brady to win her second Grand Slam title Down Under. However, she hasn’t been able to hit the top stride since. The Japanese star has failed to win a title since her victorious 2021 Australian Open campaign. Her best result during this period has been a final appearance at the Miami Open.
This year too, the 24-year-old has endured an inconsistent run of form in the tournaments. Additionally, her injury concerns haven’t helped her cause either, as she has been forced to miss some big tournaments due to injuries. Recently, she issued an apology to her fans on social media.
