Earlier this year, four members of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad pressed claims against a team’s executive. It was a huge stain on the name of the Cowboys. It brought up an immediate action from the team owner Jerry Jones, who had to pay $2.4 million for a confidential settlement.
The cheerleading group accused Rich Dalrymple, the team executive. According to a source, he was accused of voyeurism.
Dalrymple later released a statement that said, “People who know me, co-workers, the media, and colleagues, know who I am and what I’m about. I understand the very serious nature of these claims and do not take them lightly. The accusations are, however, false. One was accidental and the other simply did not happen.”
The cheerleaders are an important part of the Dallas Cowboys‘ family. A strong response was necessary when they had negative experiences within the organization. After paying off the settlement money, Jerry Jones spoke about the issue.

The Cowboys’ owner knew the significance of the issue. As a result, he was quick to act on it and handled it professionally. Even though Rich Dalrymple denied all those claims, the franchise’s name took a significant hit due to this scandal.
Jerry Jones paid the cheerleaders an amount of $399,523.27 each
According to a source, the incident that caused the cheerleaders to press charges happened in 2015. It was at the home of the Dallas Cowboys, at the AT & T Stadium.

Every cheerleader received $399,523.27 as part of the settlement. Earlier, Rich Dalrymple was accused of taking “upskirt” photos of Charlotte Jones Anderson, daughter of owner Jerry Jones. This incident happened in the war room during the 2015 NFL Draft.
Even though the claims against him were quite strong, Dalrymple revealed that his retirement had nothing to do with the charges pressed against him. He claimed he was told about the story after he had taken retirement.
