“Texts weren’t working either until I restarted my phone. In Grimsby.”
Another said: “So glad my landline is working – I’m unable to make or receive calls this morning in UK. Internet connection appears unaffected…”
And a third wrote: “Also can’t make calls, call ends straightaway when dialling out… Not sure about incoming calls, no one ever rings me lol… I’m in Durham, England.”
The network has since apologised on social media and but didn’t say how long the outage is expected to last.
“We’re currently experiencing technical issues with some calls,” the company wrote on Twitter.
“Please accept our apologies if you’ve been affected by this, our engineers are working hard to fix it. Check back here for updates.”
