Yorkshire’s Harry Potter fans will have just a short drive to experience a new Forbidden Forest walking tour attraction this autumn.
A wizard themed light and illumination trail inspired by the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series is opening in Cheshire this autumn.
The new family experience is planned for woodland at Arley Hall & Gardens near Northwich, which is a little over an hour from parts of West Yorkshire and under two hours from South and North Yorkshire.

Fans can already sign up for the ticket waiting list which will give information on how to purchase tickets from 10am on Thursday, July 29, starting at £19.
As the autumnal nights roll in, mesmerising lights will transform the gardens into a magical outdoor trail for families to enjoy, CheshireLive reports.
Visitors will be able to make their way through the woodland, and follow an illuminated path on which they will discover wonderful surprises, and some of their favourite moments from both films in the Forbidden Forest.

Visitors may also encounter mystical creatures such as Hippogriffs, centaurs, unicorns, Nifflers, and many more.
The experience is suitable for the whole family to enjoy and provides a huge amount for fans to see and do, with the opportunity to experience the magic of the wizarding world in a brand-new way.
From discovering the wondrous and beautiful forest come to life, they can go on to enjoy a wide range of food and drinks at the seasonally themed village, before perusing the on-site shop for Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts merchandise to take home.
The multimedia experience is being launched by US movie giants Warner Bros and Thinkwell, who also plan to take it over to California.

The trail will follow a one-way route through the gardens, and will also be fully accessible to all as well as Covid secure in adherence with the latest Government safety guidelines.
