Former Coronation street star Paula Lane is appealing for witnesses after her friend’s car was involved in a hit and run accident in the Hebden Bridge area.
The actress, who played Kylie Platt on the ITV soap, tweeted to her 230,600 followers looking for anyone in the Hebden Bridge, Todmorden or Burnley who might have information about the incident.
In the early hours of the morning on Sunday, July, 31 a blue car hit the stationary vehicles which were parked outside, Paula’s friend, Katy Rawlings house in Blackshaw Head.

Multiple cars were severely damaged in the smash with one car now being confirmed as a write off.
The driver that caused the crash did not stop, however, a large part that came off the car was left behind on the road leading to the victim being able to identify that they are potentially looking for a blue Peugeot.

Paulas tweet read: “Referring to my last tweet, if anyone in the Hebden Bridge, Todmorden, Burnley area surrounding areas happens to see or know of a blue Peugeot 206 with significant damage please get in touch. They left my friends car like this and then failed to stop.”
The 35-year-old star also shared snaps of the two badly damaged vehicles.
The police have been contacted and are looking for further information.
