PANIPAT: A six members team of students of Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET) has won the first prize in the Smart India Hackathon competition.
They created an app with the help of artificial intelligence and data science, which will know what disease you have. The team got the prize money of Rs 1 lakh.
The Smart India Hackathon is organised every year by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
The institute administration claimed that this app, named AyurAtmik App, was tested on more than fifty people. The information received through the app in the test was found accurate.
The management honored the students including Vishal, Akshay Bhardwaj, Naman Narang, Himanshu Kalita, Shashank Joshi, and Yashika Sharma who reached the PIET after winning the competition.
PIET Secretary Suresh Tayal and Vice Chairman Rakesh Tayal informed that the India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) had sought ideas from students across the country on certain subjects. PIET's students chose the subject of fitness and sports. The competition was held at Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi.
